We are a concerned and passionate group of Bellingen and Coffs Harbour local citizens. Formed in 2001, FOPC collaborates with other concerned organisations to protect the flora and fauna of Pine Creek State Forest on the mid north coast of NSW, Australia.

Mission
To promote and preserve the cultural and natural heritage of Pine Creek State Forest and protect its native forest areas from logging.
Our community understands that the native forests of Pine Creek State Forest hold enormous cultural and natural heritage values and that these are now threatened. With logging of these native forests on the schedule, local community and environmental organisations have rejoined to form a coordinated affiliation whose mission is to stop the proposed logging within Pine Creek State Forest and seek its immediate permanent protection.
Goals
To achieve permanent protection of selected parts of Pine Creek State Forest by extending Bongil Bongil National Park to join New England National Park via “The Forest Bridge”– a Mid North Coast Koala Corridor Proposal.
Support the Great Koala National Park campaign.
Achieve these goals through non-violent, direct action.
Help us help our forests. Whatever we do, we cannot do it without you.
